Sunyoung uses honeybees as the primary form in her works to raise awareness of environmental value and how to build a sustainable community. Inspired by the song “My Universe”, a collaborative track between Cold Play and BTS during the Pandemic, Sunyoung made a group of works that explore the ideas of a peaceful and beautiful place where anyone can feel safe and happy. Each piece represents an individual from a different side/culture. Her work is searching for the meaning of the power of a positive impact on our daily lives.
