My work speaks to the casualty of consumption of pills whether prescribed or over the counter. That we just keep taking and taking. When something hurts physically or mentally, we reach for the bottle of pills that are stacking up under our sinks or in the vanity cabinet. We don’t question or think of the consequences, we just take. Taking pills has become so casual, yet at the same time we are still shamed when consuming, we take in secret. These pieces remove the notion of hiding the fact that we consume, allows the pills to become a part of our daily adornment that we choose to show the world.
